Willie Ruth ( Bill ) Pettit

Mrs Willie Ruth (Bill) Pettit, age 88, of 113 Cherry Drive, Martin TN, died Tuesday, 6/2/2009, at Weakley County Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 6/04/2009, at 11:00 AM at Murphy Funeral Home, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be between 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM Wednesday, 06/03/2009 at the funeral home.

Mrs Pettit was preceeded in death by her husband, Macon Pettit; her parents, Herbert & Betty Mae Birchem Harris.

Mrs Pettit is survived by a brother, Bobby Lee Harris, Gallion Ohio, a sister-in-law, Mable Wilkinson, Dresden TN, and Nieces & Nephews.

Mrs Pettit was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church.
