William T. Newsom

Mr. William T. Newsom, age 72, of Newsom Road, Martin TN, died Friday, 11/08/2013, at his home.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, 11/12/2013, at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Martin TN, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will be Monday, 11/11/2013, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church. On Tuesday visitation will begin after 11:00 AM at the church until service time.

Mr. Newsom was a Veteran of the U.S. Army; a graduate of Martin High School. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and a retired carpenter.

Mr. Newsom is survived by his wife, Betty Wade Newsom, Martin TN; a daughter, Dana Newsom Rogers(Keven), Dresden TN; two sons, Mark (Paula) Newsom, Dresden TN, and Michael (Kyra) Newsom, Rapid City, SD; six grandchildren, Matthew Newsom, Jessica Newsom, Jake Rogers, Will Rogers, Mick Newsom, and Alex Newsom; one great grandchild, Addison Sandlin; his mother, Mary Nell Yarber Hundley, Rives,TN; two sisters, Rita Laster, Sharon TN, and Linda Jones, Martin TN.

Mr. Newsom was preceded in death by his father, Talmer Newsom.
