William "Fat Cat" Bennett

February 15, 1952 — February 11, 2021

Mr. William "Fat Cat" Everett Bennett, age 68, died Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Memorial visitation with the family will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021, 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Sharon First Baptist Church in Sharon, Tennessee.  

Mr. Bennett is survived by his daughters, Vickie (Madison) Hazlewood and Becky Snider both of Martin; his mother, Jeanne D. Biggers of Dresden; his sisters, Starr Simmons of Martin and Winniford Bennett of Camden, TN; his brothers, Edward (Lisa) Brooks of Dresden and Murphy Dunlap of Melborne, FL; three grandchildren, Madison (Caleb) Scott, Mason Snider and Braedyn Hazlewood; one great-grandchild, Jentri Scott.

Mr. Bennett was a carpenter and a member of a carpenter's Union.  He worked at various power plants.  He was a part of Martin Westview "42-0" football team.

He was preceded in death by his father, Murphy Bennett.
