Mr. William Edgar Hill, age 82, of Martin died Wednesday at Volunteer Community Hospital. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2009, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, June Grainger Hill of Martin; sons, Billy Hill of Martin and Leslie Hill of Gleason, TN; daughters, Elizabeth Hill Staggs of Jackson, TN and Elise Hill Everett of Martin; brother, Richard Hill of Munford, TN; sister, Essie Ray Brown of Munford, TN; half-brothers, David and Johnny Elleff of Greenville, KY; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Edgar Hill and Estelle Whitten Hill.
Mr. Hill was a retired Iron Worker Local 782, Paducah, KY. He was a US Navy veteran and member of the First Baptist Church in Martin.
