William (Andy) Andrew Boane

Mr. William Andrew (Andy) Boane, age 87, of Martin, TN, died Tuesday, 02/20/2018, at Tennova Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 02/24/2018, at 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, 02/23/2018, from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Boane formerly owned and operated Gardner Stop and Shop and worked with Murray Guard Security at MTD in Martin. He was a 50 year member of the Martin Masonic Lodge #551 and a member of the Bob Reavis #71 Order of the Eastern Star. He was a veteran, U. S. Army and served in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Mr. Boane was preceded in death by his wife, Dorthella Ann Brown Boane, his daughter, LaDonna Louise Boane, his son, Joseph Boane, his sister, Ruby Reynolds, and his parents, Matthew Andrew Boane and Vester Virginia Abbott Boane, one grandchild, William Joshua Biggers.

Mr. Boane is survived by his sons, Roger Andrew "Buddy" (Tina) Boane, Columbia, TN, and William David (Denise) Boane, Dresden, TN; a daughter, Elizabeth Renee Gaba, Dyersburg, TN; his sisters, Dorothy Mason, Ohio and Margaret Phillips, Michigan; and a brother, James E. Boane, Roan Mountain, TN; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
