Willard Adams

Mr. Willard Graves Adams, age 90, of Martin died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Central Baptist Church in Martin at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Murphy Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., or after 12:00 Noon on Sunday at the church.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Mary Christine Forrester Adams, and his daughter, Jan Carol Wainscott both of Martin. Two grandchildren, Stephanie Leight (Keith) Walker and Jennifer Carol (Josh)Chamblin; four great-grandchildren, Savannah Leigh Walker, Kendall Alan Walker, Jackson Beauregard (Beau) Shamblin and Katherine Blythe Chamblin.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Adams and Velma Pearl Cantrell Adams; one brother, Eunice Adams; two sisters, Vonell Galloway and Annie Kate Essary.

Mr. Adams retired from Star Dry Cleaners in Martin. He was U.S. Army WW II and a member of Central Baptist Church.
