Mr. Wendell F. Alexander, age 82, of Dresden, TN, died Friday, 07/28/2017, at his home..

A Family Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 3:30 P.M. in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden with Mr. Max Speight and Judge Tommy Moore officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Dresden Elks Lodge.

Mr. Alexander was a graduate of Rives High School; he was a realtor and owner of Wendell Alexander Realty.

Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife, Shirley Hawks Alexander, Dresden, TN; a daughter, Lisa Alexander, Dresden, TN; nine grandchildren, Jake(Alyssa) Bynum, William D. Permenter, III, Alex(Kate) Bynum, Cody Cunningham, Steven Permenter, Joseph Permenter, Matthew Permenter, Michael Permenter, and Winston Permenter; three great grandchildren, Ella, Nash, and Roane Bynum; a sister, Barbara Smith, Martin, TN; and a brother, Marvin(Lullen) Alexander.

Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by three stepsons, Dr. William D. (Pam) Permenter, Jr., Patrick H. Permenter, and Gregory S. Permenter; and his parents, W.A. (Alton) and Margaret Whitehead Alexander.
