Violet Demetra Bruff Harding

October 18, 1934 — November 23, 2021

Mrs. Violet Demetra Bruff  Harding, age 87, of Martin, TN, died Tuesday, 11/23/2021, at the home of her daughter.

Funeral services will be Friday, 11/26/2021, at 2:00 PM at New Home Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy Potts officiating, with burial to follow at Cate Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 Noon until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Horace Bruff, Steve Sherfield, Steve Lemond, Roy Wainscott, Chuck Collier, Phillip McMinn, and Ricky Conner.

Mrs. Harding was the widow of William Earl Harding; she was preceded in death by a son, Mark William (Chunk) Harding, and her parents, Horace H. Bruff and Wilma C. Everett Bruff; her step mother, Mary C. Bruff; and her brother, Jim Bruff.

Mrs. Harding was a member of New Home Baptist Church, where she was instrumental in starting up Beulah Association WMU of which she served as President.  She loved to travel across the USA in all four directions including Hawaii, Canada, Nova Scotia, Mexico, and the Bahamas. She was retired from Martin Manufacturing Co.

Mrs. Harding is survived by a daughter, Keree Lynne (Gary) Hall, Sharon, TN; three grandchildren, Beth Ann (Kevin) Britt, Amy Lee (J.J.) Hodge, and Glen (Kristin) Hall, and three great grandchildren, Keegan Britt, Kaylee Hodge, and William Kade Hodge; a brother, Horace Bruff, Chicago, IL;  and a daughter-in-law, Tina Harding.
