Vester Virginia Boane

Mrs. Vester Virginia Abbott Boane, age 95, died Saturday at Martin Health Care. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2009, 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Boane was preceded in death by husband, Matthew (Mathie) Andrew Boane. She is survived by daughters, Dorothy Mae Mason of Dresden and Margaret Elise Phillips of Lansing, MI; sons, William Andrew (Andy) Boane of Martin and James Elven Boane of Orlando, FL. She was preceded in death by parents, James William Abbott and Maggie Roberta Wisner; one sister, Ruby Lee Reynolds. She is survived by 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
