Mrs. Sutherland, 82, died at Primary Health Care in Memphis, TN
Funeral service will be Monday, 06/08/09, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon at Murphy Funeral Home.
She is survived by husband, Leroy Sutherland of Collervile, TN; a daughter, Betty Sutherland Neergaard of Germantown, TN; brother, Glynn Ray Quarles of Martin; two grandchildren, Brian Matthews and Kenneth Lee Sutherland, Jr.; one great-granddaughter, Brooke Sutherland.
She was preceded in death by parents, Cecil Quarles and Stella Tutor Quarles.
She formally worked in the UT Martin bookstore. She was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
