Van Chandler, Jr.

Mr. Van Reid Chandler, Jr. age 64, of Martin died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 28, 2013, at Murphy Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 27, 2013, at the funeral home from 5:00P.M.-8:00P.M.

Mr. Chandler is survived by his wife, Betty Henry Chandler of Martin; one son, Chris Chandler of Atlanta; one daughter, Holly Chandler of Martin; his mother, Mrs. Charlene Thedford Chandler of Martin, and brother, Ricky Chandler of Dresden. He was preceded in death by his father, Van Reid Chandler, Sr.

Mr. Chandler formerly worked for Reelfoot Packing Company in Union City. He retired from Gordon Food Service. He was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Martin.
