Mr. Truett Jones, age 91, of Martin TN, died Monday, 02/20/2012, at Weakley County Rehab & Nursing Home in Dresden.
Funeral service will be Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesay, February 22, 2012, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church, Martin TN; he was former owner and operator of Jones Funeral Home, he was a Certified Public Accountant, and had Jones Accounting Co.; he was a graduate of Martin High School, and a WWII Army veteran.
Mr Jones is survived by his son, Richard R. Jones, Dresden TN, and two caregivers, Linda Bowers and Willena Roberts.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Rawls Jones, three sisters, Ruva Haliburton, Wilma Richardson, Garnett Mealier, his parents, William Wayne and Lizzie Brundige Jones.
