Tommy Jones

William Thomas "Tommy" Jones, age 84, of Sharon, Tennessee died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center in Dresden, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be Monday, January 6, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Murphy Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery between Dresden and Greenfield.   Visitation will be Monday beginning at 10:00 A.M. until service time at noon.

He is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Charlie) Soriano of Smyrna, TN and Kristi Jones of Nolensville, TN; one grandchild, Austin Russell Soriano and four great-grandchildren.

He was an Educator for many years and retired as principal of Martin Junior High School.  He was a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church and was an Eagle Scout, a member of the American Legion Post 55, the Dresden Elks Lodge and served as a Weakley County Commissioner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Jones and Alberta Roberts Jones and one grandson, Jacob Wallace Soriano.
