Mr. Thomas Earl Stewart, age 90, died Friday, January 1, 2016, at Van Ayer Healthcare and Rehab Center in Martin.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 5, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Sams officiating. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stewart was a retired representative for National Life and Accident Insurance Company. He was a veteran, U.S. Army WWII. He was a graduate of Sharon High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Wanda (Gary) Wadley of Jackson, Tennessee.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Lou White Stewart; his sisters, Helen Doherty and Hazel Cooper Crowder; his brother, Clarence Stewart; his parents, Thomas Everett Stewart and Grace Cross Stewart.
