Tom Noble

Mr. Thomas Alexander Noble, age 87, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Diversicare in Martin.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 13, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church until service time.

Pallbearers are DeWayne Belrose, Jon Belrose, David Belrose, Bobby Belrose, Michael Belrose and Michael Watson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the Methodist Men's Breakfast Group.

Mr. Noble is survived by his wife, Janice Whitaker Noble of Martin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Benton Noble and Margaret Helen Stewart Noble; one sister, Margaret Ellen Noble.

Mr. Noble retired as the Chair of Management and Marketing in the College of Business and Public Affairs at The University of Tennessee at Martin.  He was an avid supporter of UTM athletics.  He received his under-graduate, graduate and doctorate at The University of Alabama.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Martin and was a veteran, U.S. Army.

He is survived by his niece and nephews, Teresa (Mike) Watson, David (Angela) Belrose, Jon Belrose all of Birmingham, AL and Bobby Belrose of Arab, AL; five great-nieces and nephews, Caroline Belrose, Meredith Watson, Riley Belrose, Michael Belrose and Will Watson.
