Thomas James Jordan

Mr. Thomas James Jordan, age 82, of Martin died Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Tennova Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016, 12:00 Noon at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. TJ Jernigan officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Union City, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, one hour prior to service.

Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley T. Brown Jordan; his parents, James Jordan and Ruth Watson Jordan.

Mr. Jordan was retired from Superior Fire Place in Union City, Tennessee.

He is survived by his daughters, Norma Hampton of Atlanta, GA, Diane (Sam) Stockard of Murfreesboro, TN; Janice R. (TJ) Jernigan of Manderson, South Dakota, Ollie M. Jordan of Manchester, TN and Sharon L. Jordan of Martin; his sons, Roy (Linda) Jordan of South Fulton, TN, James E. (Kim) Jordan of Kansas City, MO and Henry Jordan of Shelbyville, TN; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
