Thelma Ruth Fuqua

Mrs. Thelma Ruth Fuqua, age 94, of Martin, TN, died Tuesday, 01/30/2024, at the Manchester Center for Rehab and Nursing.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 02/05/2004, at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, Martin, TN, with Dr. Mike Sams officiating, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday after 12:00 PM (noon) until service time.  

Mrs. Fuqua was the widow of Mr. Joe Fuqua; she was a member of First Baptist Church, Martin, TN; she was retired from the Weakley County Press and Sears Store of Martin, TN.

Mrs. Fuqua is survived by her son, Tim (Donna) Fuqua; a grandson, Joey Fuqua; and four grandchildren, Austin, Averie, Ashton, and Annie Fuqua; a sister, Sarah Frances (Darrell) Penick, Martin, TN, and two brothers, William and Robert Franklin, Lansing, Michigan.

Mrs. Fuqua was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Eddlemon, and brother, Virgil Franklin, and her parents, Lonnie and Serena McAlister Franklin.
