Terry Ashmore, Sr.

Mr. Terry Ashmore, Sr., age 77 of Martin died Sunday, May 19, 2024, at his residence.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 2:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home with Josh Mullins officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home until funeral time.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Ashmore is survived by his children, Terry, Jr. (Kristi) Ashmore and Cindy (John) Cruse both of Martin, Wyett (Jackie) Ashmore of Murray, KY and Misty (Brad) Depew of Greenfield, TN; one sister, Avonia (John) Schoolfield of Kenton, TN 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Rinks, Justin Cruse, Amber Cruse, Brittany Duke, Hagen Ashmore, Koby Ashmore, Kimberly Poyner, Michael Ashmore, Courtney Bryan, Paislee Birchem, Addilyn Depew and Audree Depew; 18 great-grandchildren. 

He owned and operated Triple T Construction until his retirement.  He was Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy Ashmore and Christine Eddleman Ashmore.
