Sylvia Pettit Greer

Mrs. Sylvia Pettit Greer, age 66, formerly of Martin, TN, died on January 6, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Reidsville, NC.

Celebration of Life and Memorial graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Greensboro, NC.

Mrs. Greer was a graduate of Westview High School, class of 1973; she married Mr. Jerry W. Greer in 1973 and moved to Greensboro, NC.  She worked and retired from a webbing company in Greensboro, NC. Mrs. Greer was a member of Brown Summit Baptist Church in North Carolina.

Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Greer, and her parents, Travis and Kay Redmon Pettit; and her grandparents, James Lonnie and Velma Pettit, and Monroe and Opal Redmon.

Mrs. Pettit is survived by her two children, Sarah Kay Jacobs and Travis Greer, both of Reidsville, NC; her four grandchildren, Ashe Jacobs,  Cheyenne Jacobs, Regan Jacobs,  and Paul Jacobs, IV; and she is survived by her brother, Keith (Janice) Pettit, Martin, TN.
