Sylvia Dowland

Mrs. Sylvia Nell Dowland, age 84, of Martin died Friday, November 6, 2020, at her residence.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020, 1:00 PM in East Side Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Springer officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Kyle Coleman, Drew Stigall, Damani Taylor, Josh Yeager, Blake Taylor and Christopher Carr.

Mrs. Dowland was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dowland; her parents, Austin Collins and Willard Dean Bynum Collins; one brother, Edgar Collins.

Mrs. Dowland was retired from the telephone company and a homemaker.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Seymour; her grandson, Hunter Seymour both of Martin; brother, Clarence Collins of Dresden; two sisters, Lou Dell Morris of Union City and Peggy Palmer of McKenzie and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Collins of Dresden.
