Sue M. Reams

Mrs. Sue McClain Reams, age 87, died Friday, September 25, 2020, at Haven Care Center in Orange Park, Florida.

Graveside service will be Thursday, October 1, 2020, 2:30 in New Hope Cemetery with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating.  Family and friends may assemble in the cemetery at 2:15 P.M. on Thursday.

Mrs. Reams was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby R. Reams; her parents, Otis McClain and Bessie Dortch McClain; one brother, Charles William McClain.

She retired from Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham and was a member of Asbury Methodist Church in Orange Park.

Sue was an avid Alabama fan and loved volunteering her time.  She volunteered at Orange Park Medical Center for 18 years, at The Thrasher Horne Performing Arts Theatre for 15 years and at Lakeside Junior High School for 18 years.  She was a very active member of her church.

She is survived by her son, Randy (Sandy) Reams of Fleming Island, Florida; three grandchildren, Brittney Lauren (Rudy) Cruz, Ashley Leighanne (Omar) Perez and Dakota James Reams.
