Mr. Steve Douglas Walker, age 61, died Friday, October 18, 2013, at his residence in Kuttawa, KY.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, 10/21/2013, at Murphy Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Hatler's Chapel Cemetery, near Martin TN. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home until service time.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Kathleen Nelson Walker of Kuttawa, KY; his son, Scott (Lizette) Walker of Tijuana, Mexico; his daughters, Jennifer Thomas of Parsons, TN and Dotti (Chris) Wray of Humboldt, TN; brothers, Larry (Patricia) Walker of Oxford, MS and Tim (Beth) Walker of Tullahoma, TN; sisters, Betsy (Jack) Harrison of Wimberly, Texas, Jan (Rigg) Ferguson of Milan, Tn and Jill (Tony) Black of Gibson, TN; step-mother, Betty Walker of Martin; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Wray, Laura and Roger Davis.
Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, Bro. Eulane Walker and Martha Turberville Walker.
Mr. Walker was minister and a member of Suwanee Church of Christ in Kuttawa, KY. He was a graduate of Martin High School and The University of Tennessee at Martin.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Tim Wadlington / Steve Walker Benefit Fund, at the Fifth & Third Bank, 418 Newman Circle, Eddyville, KY; or the American Cancer Society.
