Stella Ellison

Mrs. Stella Brents Ellison, age 87, died Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Martin at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. Mike Sams and Rev. Houston Patrick officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in the Atlanta Community near Woodland, Mississippi at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Ellison is survived by her husband, Mr. Don Ellison of Martin; two daughters, Donna (Raymond) Bell of Martin and Barbara (David) Stockett of Goodlettsville, TN; three grandchildren, Cody Bell, Jennifer Martin and Clayton (Jennifer) Stockett; one great-grandchild, Samuel Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Brents and Dessie Miles Brents; two deceased brothers, Eddie Pearl Brents and M.F. Brents.

Mrs. Ellison retired from Sears. She was a former member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Memphis and a current member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
