Sondra Todd

Mrs. Sondra Lou Medlin Todd, age 82, of Martin died Monday, April 5, 2021, at her residence.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation will be Wednesday at the church beginning at 12:00 Noon until service time at 1:00.

Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Todd; her parents, Bunyan Winfrey Medlin and Bonnie Steward Medlin; one sister and one brother.

Sondra was retired from The University of Tennessee at Martin and We Care Ministries.  She was very active in the community, Martin Pilot Club and Girl Scouts.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church and sang in the church choir for 50 plus years.  She served in many different ministries and was a selfless lady.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisha Bowen of Virginia Beach, VA, Laurie Newby of Knoxville, TN and Amy (Andrew) Brown of Martin; eight grandchildren, Shelby and Noah Bowen, Hunter (Darby) Newby, Whitney (Eric) Tompkins, Hayley (Daniel) McRady, Mady (Blake) Hayes, Brennan and Eden Brown; three great-grandchildren, Paxton Newby, Penelope Newby and Chloe Tompkins.
