Shirley Kay Howard Garner

Mrs. Shirley Kay Howard Garner, age 65, of Barger Rd., Martin TN, died Saturday, 12/01/2012, at her home.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 3, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home; 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday beginning at 11:00 A.M., one hour prior to funeral service at 12:00 Noon.

Mrs. Garner was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church; she formerly worked in the Waekley County Tax Assessor's Office. She was a graduate of Martin High School and attended Bruce's Business Institute.

Mrs. Garner is survived by her husband, Bobby J. Garner, of Martin TN; a daughter, Tammy Garner Cashion, Dresden TN; a step-daughter, Jo Ann Garner Wireman, Martin TN; a step-son, Mike Garner, Brenham, TX; a sister, Jan Howard Barker, Martin, TN; and a brother, Dennis Howard, Dresden TN; she has seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Garner was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Howard, Jr. and Lucille Hazlewood Howard.
