Mr. Leslie Scott Sharpe, age 63, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Graveside service will be Friday, September 2, 2011, in East Side Cemetery; 2:00 P.M.
Visitation will be Friday at Murphy Funeral Home beginnng at 11:00 A.M.
Mr. Sharpe is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Mark) Fagan of Martin and Jodie (Hubert) Morrison of LaGrande, OR; half-brothers, Bill Sharpe and John Sharpe; half-sister, Celia Ann Grugett, grandchildren, Drew Fagan, Mackenzie Morrison, Caleb Morrison and Grace Ann Morrison.
Mr. Sharpe was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Sharpe and Norma Jean Wagster; granddaughter, Madison Fagan.
Mr. Sharpe retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Dresden. He also served as Postmaster in Martin. He was a graduate of Martin High School and The University of Tennessee at Martin. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
