Sarah Alexander

Mrs. Sarah H. Alexander, age 65, died Sunday, 09/04/2011, at her home.

Funeral service will be Thursday, 09/08/2011, at First Baptist Church in Martin; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Wednesday, 09/07/2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband, Larry D. (Shorty) Alexander of Martin; one son, Kyle (Crystal) Alexander of Martin. She was preceded in death by parents, J.T. Hassell and Mayme Chambers Hassell; sister, Kathryn Ann Gallaher.

Sarah is survived by grandchildren, Carson Alexander, Kylee Alexander and Dawson Jernigan.

Mrs. Alexander was retired teacher at Martin Elementary School. She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and The University of Tennessee of Martin. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
