Ms. Sandra Lynn Thurman Winston, age 63, of Martin died Friday, 10/05/2012, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral service will be Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Ms. Winston was preceded in death by her daughter, Janie Lynn Winston; her parents, Vernon Robert Thurman and Doris Mae Barner Thurman. She is survived by two brothers, Winston (Judy) Thurman of Martin and Terry Wayne (Debora) Thurman of Bartlett, Tennessee.

Ms. Winston was formerly employed by Baybee Shoe Company and Merritt Clothing Company. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Martin.
