Mrs. Rubye Faye Boyd Bragg, age 99, of Martin died Friday, 01/23/2015, at Van Ayer Manor Healthcare and Rehab in Martin.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Murphy Funeral Home; 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon on Saturday for two hours prior to the service at 2:00 P.M.
Mrs. Bragg was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Emmitt Bragg; her parents, James Wiley Boyd and Ada King Boyd; two sisters, Betty Robinson and Martha Sue Fuller. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jane Bragg of Martin; two grandchildren, Russ (Selena) Bragg of Arlington, TN and Jim (Erin) Bragg of Madisonville, KY; four great-grandchildren, Lawson Bragg, Emmitt Bragg, Barnes Bragg and Weston Bragg.
Mrs. Bragg owned and operated Colonial Beauty Shop and Parkview Apartments both in Martin. She was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
