Ruby Grubb Rawls

Mrs. Ruby Estelle Grubb Rawls, age 102, of the Sandy Branch Community, died Friday, August 10, 2018, at the Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 13, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home until service time.

Mrs. Rawls was preceded in death by her husband, Felts Rawls; parents, Lester and Lula Eaves Grubb; sisters, Ruth Lawson, Nell Taylor and Janice Lowe; brother, J.C. Grubb.

She attended Dresden High School and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.


Mrs. Rawls is survived by two daughters, Sherry Harrison of Hendersonville, TN,  Edna Harris of Martin, TN;  two sons, Neil (Jane) Rawls, and Joe Rawls, both of Martin, TN; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
