Ronnie Hassel Lackey

Mr. Ronnie Hassel Lackey, age 72, of Martin, TN, died Thursday, 07/11/2019, at his home.

Funeral service will be Sunday, July 14, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Dan Blake and Bernard Stephenson officiating.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in Cate Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 13, 2019, 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, or after 12 Noon on Sunday until service time at 2:00.

Pallbearers are Bob Collins, Shawn Miles, Barry Brooks, David Vowell, Richard Smith and Michael Stephenson.

Mr. Lackey was a member of First Baptist Church; he was a graduate of Martin High School and The University of Tennessee at Martin.  He was retired from Goodyear Tire Company.

Mr. Lackey is survived by his wife, Brenda Moon Lackey, Martin, TN; his daughter, April (Jim) Wingo, Lewisville, TX; his son, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Lackey, Union City, TN; his granddaughter, Madeline Claire Lackey; and his brother, Phil (Jackie) Lackey, Millington, TN.

Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by a son, Randy Lackey, and his parents, Leonard and Ruth Morris Lackey.

The family requests  in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
