Funeral service will be Monday, March 2, 2009, at the Sharon Church of Christ; 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., or after 9:00 A.M. on Monday at the Sharon Church of Christ.

Survived by sons, Bob Johnson of Sharon, Tn, and Larry Johnson of Florida

Survived by daughers, Brenda Mansfield of Sharon, Tn, and Betty Tate of Jackson, tN

Survived by one sister, Annie Ruth Guy of Union City, TN

Survived by eight grandchildren and preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson formally worked for Mar-Tenn Hams. He retired from the City of Martin and was a member of the Sharon Church of Christ.

His parents preceded him in death, George Alvin Johnson and Odie Hester Nickles Johnson.
