Robert Ayers

Mr. Robert Gene Ayers, age 68, died Monday, May 9, 2022, at Diversicare in Martin, Tennessee.

Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Martin with Dr. Mike Sams officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday at the church until service time at 2:00.

Mr. Ayers is survived by his wife, Vicky Galloway Ayers of Martin; sons, Andrew (Ashley) Ayers and Jason (Jessica) Ayers both of Jackson, TN; Jamison (Lauren) Callins of Brentwood, TN; daughter, China (Brad) Pritchett of Franklin, TN; his mother, Martha Chandler Ayers of Milan, TN; brother, Richard Thomas (Teresa) Ayers of Jackson, TN;  grandchildren, Harrison and Henley Pritchett, Magnolia, Tallulah and Jamison Callins, II.

Rob, along side his wife, owned and operated Midway Wholesale Florist in Martin.  He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Martin where he sang in the choir and belong to Empty Nesters Sunday School Class.  He was a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jewel Dent Ayers.
