Funeral service will be Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Freeman Chapel United Methodist Church; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 3, 2008, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. or after 9:30 at the church on Saturday.

Preceded in death by son, Rev. Jerry Lackey
Survived by daughter, Glenda (Jerry Wayne) Connell of Sharon, TN
She is survived by 3 grandchildren: Randy Connell, Brent (LaMonica) Connell, Debbie Dowdy
Survived by two great-grandchildren: Amy Riggins and Countney Connell
Mrs. Lackey was preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan Lackey
Mrs. Lackey retired after 32 years in the cafeteria at Martin Elementary School. She was a member of Freeman Chapel United Methodist Church.
