Rita Lee Hankins Glover

August 7, 1937 — February 15, 2024

Mrs. Rita Lee Hankins Glover, age 86, of Martin went to be with her Lord Thursday, February 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral service will be Monday, February 19, 2024, 12:00 Noon at the Martin Church of Christ with Bro. Corey Sawyers officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Monday at the church until funeral time at 12:00 Noon.

Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Charlie"  Glover; her parents, Thomas Delbert Hankins and Clarice Mundy Hankins; one brother, Robert Hankins.

She was a retired Nurse Practitioner and was a member of the Martin Church of Christ.  She was an active member for 61 years of the Order Of The Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Ron) Burdette of Martin, Dan (Jennifer) Glover of Franklin, TN and David (Carolyn) Glover of Martin; brother, Thomas (Mary) Hankins of Granville, OH; two sisters, Judy Peters of Utica, OH and April Lynn Hankins of Newark, OH;  15 grandchildren, Lacie (Will) Cook, Crista (Zach) Ponder, Chad Thomas (Grace) Glover, Kyle David (Samantha) Watlington, Ryan Charles Watlington, Paige Lauren (Kyle) Gilliam, Alex James (Haylee) Watlington, Abby Gayle Glover, Garrison Thomas Glover, Victoria Caroline Glover,  Emme Elizabeth Glover, Tony Burdette, Nick Burdette, Brittany (Garrett) Jungman and Ryan (Rebecca) Burdette; 12 great-grandchildren, Kayson Glover, William Glover, Jaxon Ponder, Mila Ponder, BeeBee Cook, Piper Gilliam, Penelope Watlington, Ryder Jungman, Jameson Jungman, Brooklynn Allister, Aspynn Allister and Reed Burdette.

In lieu of flowers Memorial to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Honor of Abby Glover, or to the American Cancer Society.
