Mr. Richard Smythe Buckelew, Jr., age 46, died Saturday, 02/19/2011, at his home in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in Buckelew Cemetery in Tiptonville, TN. Visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2011, at the funeral home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Buckelew is survived by his wife, Cindy Benefield Buckelew, a daughter, Kayla Bradencamp, a son, Cody Bradencamp, all of Cape Girardeau, MO; his mother, Katie Voss Buckelew of Fulton, KY; his father and step-mother, Richard and Enola Buckelew of Dresden; his step-brothers, James Nichols of Tupelo, MS and Kenny Nichols of Jackson, TN; his sister, Tammy Draughn of Fulton, KY; his step-sisters, Shelia Reagan of Dresden, Patsy Morgan of Dresden, Virginia Driver of Union City, Brenda Lowrance of Martin, Judy Chambers of West Virginia; nieces and nephews, Michael and Amanda Dunn and family, Misty and Cullen Brown and family and Tabitha Lannom.

Mr. Buckelew was preceded in death by his brother, William Whitby Buckelew.

Mr. Buckelew was an electrician for K & K Electric in Cape Girardeau, MO.
