Richard Buckelew, Sr.

Mr. Richard Smythe Buckelew, Sr., age 75, died at his residence in Fulton, KY on Monday, August 31, 2015.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 3, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Chessor officiating. Burial will follow in Buckelew Cemetery near Tiptonville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Buckelew is survived by his wife, Katie Voss Buckelew of Fulton, KY; his daughter, Tammy Draughn of Fulton; brother, Franklin Buckelew of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sister, Bessie Sanders of Hickman, KY; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Buckelew and Bessie Walters Buckelew; two sons, Richard Smythe Buckelew, Jr. and William Murphy Buckelew; siblings, Evelyn Holifield, Linda Shumate, Naomi Archie, Grover Buckelew, Jr., Jimmy Buckelew, Johnny Buckelew and J.T. Buckelew.

Mr. Buckelew was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
