Rev. Markey Kite, age 86, former missionary to Mexico, died Saturday, 11/08/2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital, Martin TN.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11/12/2008, at 11:00 AM, with graveside services at Campground Cemetery, near Martin TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, 11/11/2008, at Murphy Funeral home betewwn 4:00 & 7:00 PM.
Rev. Kite was a missionary sponsered by the 30th Ave Baptist Church, St Petersburg, Fla.
He attended Ruthville Baptist Church, near Martin TN.
Rev Kite was a vetran of WWII, serving in the Army & Merchant Marines.
Rev Kite is survived by a son, Ed Kite, of Martin TN, and two daughters, Betty Orme, Highland City, Fla., and Vivian King, Blairsville, GA, and a brother, Woodrow Kite, Zephrhills, Fla.
and six grandchildren.
Rev Kite was preceeded in death by his wife, Addie Sheffield Kite, and his parents, David & Zillie Rosson Kite.
