Rev. G.A. (Guy) Wilkerson

Rev. G. A. (Guy) Wilkerson, age 82, died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at his home in Martin.

Funeral service will be Sunday, August 8, 2010, at Second Baptist Church in Union City, Tennessee; 3:00 P.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the church.

Rev. Wilkerson is survived by his wife, Annette Parker Wilkerson of Martin. He is survived by his children, Craig Allen Wilkerson of Cordova, TN, Barry Kevin Wilkerson of Martin, Latyonia Jane Brackett of Martin, Laurie Ann Reagan of Paris, TN and Lesia Kay Cazenave of Martin. Ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren survive.

Rev. Wilkerson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Wilkerson and Elsie Shoe Wilkerson.

Rev. Wilkerson was a retired Baptist Minister and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City, TN.
