Rev Dwayne Harding Maxey

Rev. Dwayne Harding Maxey, age 45, of K Street, Martin TN, died Thursday, 02/23/2012, at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville TN.

Funeral service will be Sunday, February 26, 2012, at 2:00 PM at East Side Baptist Church in Martin. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the church from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 12 noon on Sunday until service time at 2:00 P.M.

Rev. Maxey was a Baptist Minister; he served as Pastor at East Side Baptist Church in Martin. He attended Dresden High School and was a US Navy veteran.

Rev. Maxey was survived by his wife, Allison Bates Maxey, two daughters, Mary Katherine and Bailey Jo Maxey, and a son, Lucas Harding Maxey, a grandchild, Hayden Wayne Maxey, all of Martin TN, his mother, Barbara Allen Royster Atkins, Dresden TN, and a brother, Jeff Maxey, Medina, TN.

Rev. Maxey was preceded in death by his father, Richard Harding Maxey.
