Ray Harper

Ray Harper of Dresden, Tennessee left this earth Saturday, July 20th, to be with his wife in a heavenly place.  Ray's 94 years of life were very full of (terrible) jokes and storytelling.  He was a kind and generous man, always interested in helping others.

Throughout his life he was able to watch four more generations of Harper descendants grow, and he loved his family with his whole heart.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dula, his wife of more than 70 years, Opal; and his granddaughter Rheanne.  He is survived by his twin brother Roy, son Donald, his grandchildren David and Lexi, his great-grandchildren April, Sabrina, Brad Renee', Mazie, and Travis, and many great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, TN, on Saturday, July 27th, at 10am, with Celebration of Life services at 11am.
