Mrs. Ruby Rachel Hamilton Tackett, age 59, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016, in Martin.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, 08/01/2016, at Lebanon Cemetery, near Dresden, TN, with burial to follow. Visitation will be Sunday, 07/31/2016, between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tackett is survived by her husband, Harold Tackett of Martin; her daughters, Ameilia Ruth Vanderlugt of Salem, OR and Sarah Mae Barber of Union City, TN; her sons, Lewis Carl (Rebecca) Tackett of Nashville, Curtis Eugene Tackett of Knoxville and Vanyel Jeter of Gleason, TN; her sister, Wanda (Jerry) Lamb of Dresden; her brothers, Elton (Glennis) Hamilton and James (Janie) Hamilton both of Dresden and Jack (Wanda) Hamilton of Tiptonville; 14 grandchildren.

Mrs. Tackett was the manager of Dollar General Store in Martin for 15 years. She was a graduate of Dresden High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lewis Hamilton and Roxey Faye Robison Hamilton; one sister, Robin Simmons.
