Mr. Phillip Moore Carr, age 70, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Diversicare of Martin.
Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be Sunday, January 21, 2018, 3:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Martin with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, or after 1:00 P.M. on Sunday until service time at 3:00.
Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne McCreight, Crawford Gallimore, Jim Glasgow, Dr. Don Wright, Steve Bates and Capt. Terry McDade.
Mr. Carr is survived by his wife, Camille Corder Carr of Dresden, his daughter, Leigh Carr of Martin; his son Beau (Emily) Carr of Nashville; two brothers, Jerry (Dot) Carr of Oakland, TN and Charles (Donna) Carr of Trenton, TN; two grandchildren, Emma Cate Carr and Ellis Corder Carr.
Mr. Carr was a retired agency manager for Tennessee Farm Bureau in Dresden. He was a veteran, U.S. Air Force and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Finis Carr and Mattie Lou Moseley Carr.
