Peggy King

Mrs. Peggy Jane King, age 93, of Martin died Monday, October 21, 2024, at Weakley County Nursing Home.

Murphy Funeral Home will handle the cremation arrangements.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, William T. King, Jr.; two sons, Robert Lawrence King and William Terry King, IV; her parents, Leon Dunlap and Robbie Miller Dunlap.

She was a retired Educator having taught in the Lansing School District in Lansing, Michigan.  She was a master Artist and also taught art classes. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Martin.

Mrs. King is survived by her daughter, Mary (George Allen) Frels of Spring Branch, Texas; grandchildren, Matt King, William Anthony King and Heather Leigh (Brian Seibel) Pettit; great-grandchildren, Ryan King, Evan Floyd King and Lelis Marie Pettit.
