Paul Mitchell

Mr. Paul Wendell Mitchell, age 83, of Martin died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Jackson Madison County Hospital.

Funeral Service will be Monday, May 9, 2016, at First United Methodist Church in Martin with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the church until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Saine Mitchell; his parents, Milburn Mitchell and Evelyn Mullins Mitchell; one brother, Bob Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell was retired from Dessell T. Wright Company in Martin. He was a graduate of Bradford High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin. He was a veteran, U.S. Army.

He is survived by his children, Gail Stephens and Terry Bodziak both of Martin, and Shawn Mitchell of Murray, KY; one brother, Eddie Mitchell of Milan, TN; one sister, Elizabeth Singleton of Skullbone, TN; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
