Paul E. Moore

Mr. Paul Eugene Moore, age 94, of Martin died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at his home.

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 11, 2011, at the Martin Church of Christ; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 9:00 A.M. at the church on Saturday until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Jackie) Savage Moore of Martin; sons, Paul Wayne (Jie) Moore, Bruce Roger (Thee) Moore and Mark Allen (Alice) Moore; six grandchildren, Josh W. (Laura) Moore, Daniel B. (Beth) Moore, Samuel Aaron Moore, Rachael Leanne Moore, Kristi (Chuck) Walker and Hailey Shipley; five great-grandchildren survive.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Moore and Mary Lena Danley Moore; one brother, Howard B. Moore.

Mr. Moore was retired administrator for Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. He graduated for American College of Hospital Administration. He was U.S. Air Force World War II veteran and a member of the Martin Church of Christ in Martin. Mr. Moore was a member of the American Legion Post 69.
