Patty Murphy

Mrs. Patty Futrell Murphy, age 71, of Martin died Monday, January 5, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral Service will be held at the Martin Church of Christ on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Murphy Funeral Home, or after 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the Martin Church of Christ.

Mrs. Murphy is survived by her husband, David W. Murphy, Sr. of Martin; daughters, Jennifer (Richard) Gaw of Nashville and Ginger (Sammy) Liles of Martin; son, David W. Murphy, Jr. of Martin; sister, Penny (Jack) Holecz of Martin; six grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Higgs, Murphy Michael Higgs, Jeannette Arnold Gaw, Douglas Murphy Gaw, Nathan Murphy and Ragan Liles.

Mrs. Murphy was a homemaker and a member of Martin Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Martin High School and Memphis State University.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. McAnulty (Mac) Futrell, Sr. and Winnie Hayes Futrell Kirkland; one brother, J. McAnulty (Mac) Futrell, Jr.
