Patsy Damron

Mrs. Patsy Haley Damron, age 73, died Saturday at Van Ayer Manor in Martin. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at New Home Baptist Church; 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 19, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at New Home Baptist Church until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Damron was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Harold (Curley) Damron. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Simmons of Martin; two grandchildren, Brad Simmons and Ginger Horton; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otha Lee Haley and Bertie Coley Haley.

Mrs. Damron retired from A.M.P.I. of Martin. She was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of New Home Baptist Church.
