Norma Barron

Mrs. Norma Faye Dortch Barron, age 78, of Martin died Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral Service will be Friday, February 20, 2015, at Central Baptist Church in Martin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Central Baptist Church from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., or after 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the church.

Mrs. Barron is survived by her husband, Ralph J. Barron of Martin; daughters, Debra (Tony) Brown of Henry, TN and Kim (Joey) Pierce of Martin; brother, Gene Dortch of Dresden; sister, Gloria (Tommy) Camp of Martin; three grandchildren, Cody (Heather) Stewart, Seth Pierce and Annabelle Pierce; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, Kate Brown, Zach (Rachel) Brown and Logan Brown; four step great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Barron worked 37 years in the Records Office at The University of Tennessee at Martin. She was a 1955 graduate of Martin High School.

Mrs. Barron was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus Dortch and Annie Bell Summers Dortch; brother, James Dortch; sister, Montell Kirby; one grandchild, Joshua Alyn Barron.
