Mr. Norbert T. Harold, age 85, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Murphy Funeral Home; 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgley, Tennessee. Visitation will Tuesday beginning at 12:00 Noon until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.
Mr. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Emanda Burress Harold; his parents, Rudolph Harold and Catharine Rayovick Harold. He is survived by his step-daughter, Barbara Rowlett of Martin; sisters, Catherine Hosang of Chicago and Mary Ann Miletich of Oaklawn, Illinois; four grandchildren, Lynn Dee Davis, Alicia Stevens, Kattie Penick and Kelly Jo Wilson; 11 great-grandchildren; friend and caregiver, Sam Readenour of Union City, Tennessee.
Mr. Harold retired from Oak Park, Ill. police department. He attended Life Church and was a U.S. Marine veteran.
